								Have a boiler room efficiency survey done on all equipment and practices. This will tell you where your money is going and how you might stop it.
								Routinely maintain burners to keep them running efficiently. Burner maintenance prevents soot deposits on flue gas side of heat exchange surfaces. Soot insulates those surfaces from efficient heat transfer. Insulation forces more burner "on" time which drives up the original heat load and, of course, fuel costs.
								Water treatment prevents scale in steam systems and rust in hot water systems. Scale and rust insulate  the water side of boiler heat exchange surfaces.
								Design and installation of microprocessor based boiler controllers for hot water heating boilers. These systems implement various heating strategies to closely regulate boiler water temperature. Many combinations of heating strategies exist and there is a broad family of microprocessor controls. The best application is achieved after a survey of the boiler room equipment and discussion with the facility owner. Any combination of microprocessor controls is guaranteed to reduce boiler operating costs.
